Sebastião Salgado


    Nothing but a few words for him, because Salgado's artwork cannot be described. Υou just watch it riveted.
Salgado's photography excites you, convulses you, and sometimes can make you feel disgust and indignation
about this world yourself included.
    Sebastiao Salgado was born on February 8, 1949 in Almores, Minas Gerais County in Brazil.
    Since 1973 he professionally occupied with photography. He has travelled in over 100 countries capturing
the darkness of this world.
    Working since 1990 along with his wife Lelia Deluiz Wanick Salgado for the restoration of a small part of
Atlantic Forest in Brazil they finally achieved to create there the Instituto Terra that has the mission of the
reforestation and conservation, also the environmental education.
